7. A rock weighs 480kg plus half of its whole weight. How heavy is the 
     rock?

6. Two water lilies are growing in a pond. Each day they are doubling in
      number and size. After 17 days they cover exactly half of the pond. How
      many more days do they need till they cover the whole pond?

5. A boy wants to know the age of his friend’s dog. His friend says that this
      is not so easy to find out but five years ago his brother was exactly five
      times as old as Bonzo (his dog), and now he is only three times as old.
      How old is Bonzo?

4. A farmer and his wife have 15 children (can happen), each born 1.5 years
     apart. Nelly, the oldest child, admits that she is eight times older than 
     Fred, the youngest child. How old is Nelly?

3. Can you find a two-figure number, which has its digits reversed when you
     double it and add 2?

2. In a bus are fewer than 25 passengers, one third in the front part and
     three quarters in the rear part. How many people are in the bus?

1.  A rubber ball falls from a 250m tall tower to the ground and bounces
      several times, each bounce exactly one tenth of the previous one. What
      is the accumulated distance of all the bounces till the ball comes to a rest?
